what would be better? lets say that cost is not a factor for shits and giggles. if you have a 280x would it be worth crossfiring it or would it be better to just get a 780TI? is the extra power draw, heat and any other problems that come with crossfiring worth a crossfire set up or would you be better off with one single powerful GPU. ive read that the hassle of crossfiring is not worth it.

well if if budget is not a concern i would just buy 780Ti. Cause if both the 280X installed have axial fans it would be heck lot of heat inside the case to take care of.And there is always a limitation in number of fans you can install and especially if you live in places where summers are hot as 50C. (Water cooling is best measure but to take away all the hectic of installing such kit on air cooled 280X i would just buy the 780Ti)

hi,
280x xfired is slightly faster 10-20%, but can have some problems with stuttering so 780ti could look smoother, given that 780ti also consumes much less and can be a overclocked a bit more, allied with less drivers problems i would recommend to go with that

Well the 50C places,,, lol,,, my hometown of course "Sikar,Rajasthan,India".
Seriously insanely hard to use high and hardware and to overclock unless the room is air-conditioned.

oh wow. back to the 780ti, would you say you get more for your money with this card apposed to an AMD card due to inflation because of mining?

AMD is always price friendly,, but sometimes availability hits the market price. If the prices are similar for similar performance I would go for Nvidia even if its little costly as they are quite power friendly and get less hot.
