Crossfire High Temps

Hi,

I'm getting really high temps for my Primary GPU and I don't really know how to solve the problem.

It idles at around 70C and reaches 100C whilst stressing.

My MOBO only had 2 PCIe slots which means they are extremely close together. During stressing tasks the fan is pretty much 100% and even needs to be high when idling which is annoying as it's quite loud.

Any ideas on how to fix this issue?

Thanks,

Luke

You're going to have to increase your entire case airflow. Have a look at your case, and ensure that you're pulling in lots of fresh air and make sure the room it's very hot. That's the only solution at this point.

Thanks for your reply.

My room is barely even warm and I've increased my case airflow to the best of my ability. Not really sure what else I can do.

Is there a way to make my bottom card the primary?

There's no way to make the bottom card the primary. PCIexpress slots for dual setups have a 1 and 2 setup that is hardwired into the MB.

A buddy of mine takes the side off his case and points a desk fan at it... It's not elegant, but it is effective.
