About a year ago I built my own computer. In the past week or two I have suddenly found my computer hard shutting down without warning. I have to admit that beyond putting the pieces together I do not have a lot of experience in troubleshooting my problems. I have tried to observe what I am doing at the time of a turn off and usually I have a few tabs open on chrome and itunes playing some music. In reading I have observed that while I am not directly doing much on my computer there can be a lot of extra stuff running in the background. Anyway, I am not sure what is going on and could use some help troubleshooting. I would consider myself to be not very advanced in knowledge about how computers work, but I am a fast learner.
My computer keeps turning off (not shutting down) and I am not experienced enough to troubleshoot the problem myself.
