Hello,

I'm pretty much done building the internals of my computer. I am a total noob when it comes to system ventilation though. The case I have is a corsair carbide 300r windowed case. So far as my system goes I am running 1 nvidia gtx 780 with plans to upgrade to sli and I have a h100i that I am installing at the top of my case. My system has a very strong red theme in it so I'd like to continue that by putting some red led fans such as these af140 fans from corsair(http://bit.ly/1ilUBNp).

Here is a quick overview of where things are in my case (corsair carbide 300r windowes and where fans could be installed:

-The power supply is in the far back as usual

-h100i radiator installed at the top

-There is one mounting point for a fan at the top back (120/140)

- there are two mounting points on the side above where the graphics cards would be (120/140)

- There are two mounting points on the front one above where the hard drive tray and one right in front of hard drive trays (120/140)

What I need to know is what fans should be installed and whether they should be doing intake or out-take. (This includes the h100i)

Solution
I would setup the H100i as an exhaust up top, put in a fan upfront as intake, and the rear fan as an intake. The front intake will be enough for the single GPU, and the rear intake will give some cooler air for the H100i and motherboard. That should be plenty of airflow for a single GPU system, while still being quiet.
