I am mainly a FPS Player and I want to get the most of the card, is for this price range 770gtx the best? Somebody also recommended me the R280x toxic but I dont really know the difference.

another question is, when I go to amazon to search 770gtx, I see many from different brands, which one is the best? is the cooling better in one brand than another? or is the OC better depending on the brand?

all the 770 perform about the same only a few % differentiate them, just dont buy a reference card, gigabyte windforce got the most silent one, then msi gaming, use software to edit fan profile, not that auto crap in settings. evga is the worst with 40% as lowest fan speed,

I personally, ALWAYS go with EVGA. I've bought 4 Nvidia cards within the last 2 years and every one of them was an EVGA. EVGA is almost like THE Nvidia name brand. Plus I like the fact that EVGA has blower style coolers that don't let HOT air circulate in your case like all the other coolers do.

Plus don't you just LOVE the look of the GTX770 reference cooler? With the aluminum and the glass? I'd go for that in a HEARTBEAT over any other graphics card. It's just SO original and it performs great too.

Here, check this out, you gotta love this.....

This specific card was 389.99, but you can find this sort of case for 329.99 like all the rest of them.

I think if you buy a high end Nvidia card, and DON'T go for the classic reference style aluminum and glass case, your making a BIG mistake. And all your hot air will be exhaust out the back of your case too, instead of circulating and heating up all your internals.

I have a GTX780 with the reference cooler, and I can vouch, it's fantastic.

As for GTX770 vs. R9 280x.... they are so close to eachother it won't make a significant difference. So I'd go with the 770.
