Hi all, so I ended up buying an Huntkey Green Power 500W (lw-6500HG) its a long story.
So I bought a new GPU (R7 260X Sapphire) and I read I need a 500W psu and urgently. So I went to my local pc shop and I wanted to buy an Thermaltake Litepower 550W but they didn't have stock so I had to take the Huntkey. Now I keep reading how bad Huntkey is but I don't have money now to buy a better one, and it is going to take time to save up.The psu is about 4 months old now and I have the FX-6300 cpu.My pc draws about 320W-360 full load.So is it save to keep this psu for a couple of months till I have enough money to buy a Corsair or Seasonic?
Thanks.

If we are ranking things by quality going down from highest quality to the worst, i would go

Raidmax
Bucket-O-Poop
Huntkey

To give you an idea why take a look at these two reviews done by hardware secrets on huntkey units several years ago

The fact that there is a page entitled "The Explosion" in the first review should give you a clue.

buy the XFX core edition 550W, XFX is basically Seasonics cheaper PSUs. Still good quality with the wattage you payed for on the psu. Plus you will have the money for your psu faster since it's cheaper.

I would disable tubro-mode on the cpu just untill you get your new psu to be on the safe side of things. You can do that in the bios.
If you really want to be safe then put a fps limiter to 50fps on your gpu and bump settings down in games. Would make sure the gpu never gets close to full load.

Do both of these things and buy the XFX as fast as possible.

Hope this helps! :)
