Can anyone recommend a mono w/ built in WiFi? I was looking at the asrock fatality z87 killer and getting a WiFi card, but I saw a lot of reviews on newegg saying it was very unreliable, so I thought to look for a new one. Please help.
SLI is essentially just utilizing two graphics cards' processing power as a single GPU (the AMD equivalent is called Crossfire). Generally isn't necessary unless you are someone who just wants maximum performance at the highest quality you can afford lol With a GTX 780, you probably won't even need to ever SLI if you stick with a single 1080p monitor. The drawback to SLI is that games have to support SLI functionality, and if they don't, the second GPU sits inactive, meaning your $1000 worth of 780s is worth $500 in that game lol
My guess is they had a bad card, the wrong drivers, or a fluke bad board. Any board with wifi 'built-in' still powers it through PCIe x1, so it would be no different.

Oh, ok then. Hey, do you think you can give me some advice on this build. It's my first and I don't want to screw it up. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/3scIE
I would change to the H100i, since there's plenty of room in the R4 for it, and think about the GTX 780 too. The 780 will give slightly better performance, and costs you abot $100 less right now The K1ller is more than capable of running 2-way SLI in the future, and the 750w PSU will be better for 780 SLI compared to 290 Crossfire. The rest looks great All good quality parts

I am actually very confused on the gpu. I got the r9 290 because I saw many things saying that the 290 is more powerful than the 780. But a lot of ppl are saying to get the 780. I'll be playing Minecraft, dota 2, bf4, crisis 3, and metro ll. Which card to you recommend me getting.
The 290 and 780 perform very similar. You'll see the 290 win in about 50% of games, and the 780 win in about 50% of games.
The reason I'm recommending the 780 in this situation, is because you can save $75-$100 from the R9 290 because the 290/290x aren't quite back to normal after the mining rush price-wise. Also, with a 750w power supply, you can run a pair of 780s in SLI if you want to, whereas a pair of 290s would be cutting a lot closer.

Oh, ok. That makes more sense, but I'm wondering what are the benefits of slit. Sorry I'm a bit of a noob at this
