Since I can't get Samsung's Data Migration, or any other cloning software to work on my Dell Cad system, is there a good old fashioned way to get my OS onto a SSD in the same system? Eventually coping all files to the new SSD and either removing the existing HDD, or using it as a storage device? I have removed the AutoCAD license on this machine thinking it was the cause of the cloning software not to work, but there must be other issues. I just want to use the SSD on this old system to breathe new life into it, only if it would work as it did in my other Dell......

I don't know and it may not work because the windows make me like the fool, just know to click and click the mouse. But back to the cloning software, as long as you do read the fine print carefully before you click the "Yes" or "Not" during the installation, you will not get the bloatware.

The solution was to forget Samsung on this system. I got an Intel SSD, and it worked just fine. Don't know why the Samsung worked on one Dell but not this one???? But sure am happy I got a SSD on this thing finally. From now on I am not going to waste that kind of time. If it doesn't work the first or second time around, get another brand.....
