Hello, I bought a new video card, and i can't manage to make my computer recognize it.
I'm even unable to install the drivers (Neither from the cd that came with the GPU nor downloading it) since the following message appears: "This graphics driver could not find compatible graphics hardware".

I checked in Device Manager and nothing is shown there, but the GPU is properly connected in the PCI-ex 16, and the 6 pin cable force is correctly conected, and in the BIOS config it is configured to display the PCI-EX. I find it odd that my monitor is plugged in my video card and working, but i'm unable to play games and install the drivers.

Anything that i could do about it??

Specs:
Motherboard : PW-945GCX
Processor: Intel core 2 DUO E7300
Power Supply: Corsair CX430

Solution

Did you tried reinstalling GPU into different slot?
however it dont matter that much ..

I think there should also be a green led on GPU glowing when every thing goes fine, look for it.. not sure if it comes with a GTX 650 tho

Also what old drivers etc.. do you have? maybe previous drivers dont let it work, if any?

I am just giving some guesses here , so excuse me
