1920x1080p monitor changed to 1600x1200!

For no reason, i have a Hair 22 inch TV/Monitor, i intentionally bought it for a PC monitor while it was on sale for 114.99 i got it, hooked up the DVI and displayed amazing, you know 1980x1080p Resolution, like 4 months later i turn on my PC and it look's horrible, all of it i just don't like it and i cant change it back, please help.

So you no longer have the option to use 1920 x 1080(the P is not needed since almost all computer have been progressive since the 90s)

What video card you do have? most come with a control panel to change the resolution.

I would bet 1600 x 1200 would be bad seeing as you do not have that many pixels tall.
