I am from Egypt so prices here are a bit different, you can get the at http://www.egprices.com/
usage of this PC :
1-3Ds Max, Programming, Cryengine 3, Adobe Photoshop, etc....
2-Hardcore Gaming
3-Home system(studying, downloading and uploading, web browsing, etc....)
notes:
1-This system may be kept idling for 8H/Day and on load for 8H/Day.
2-I have an 1920X1080 monitor already and may buy an IPS one.
Do you have any comments on this rig ?
Should i change my PC now or wait till the next year ?
Core2Duo E7500 @ 3.66GHz
4GB 1333MHz DDR3 Ram
GT 640 Core@1100MHz and Memory@940MHz
But i game on 1280X720
Do you think an intel/Nvidia rig will be better ?

Alright, so for the uses you have listed, the most important component to make usage best for you would be a quality GPU. And that is where I would make sure to designate a good portion of my budget to.

I'm thinking for that price, you should be able to get a nice intel i7, but I'm not sure what prices are in Egypt. Here is a good link to look and compare CPU benchmarks, from 3D rendering to single threaded benchmarks. It's getting a little outdated, but it will give you a decent start.
