I am going to buy a cat-5e cable but I don't know which technology cable I should use. I gues there are al lot of UTP cables, but I don't know if that is the best one?

Solution
Generally depends on the environment you'll be running it in. UTP (Unshielded) may not be a good idea if you're passing it through an environment that has a lot of electrical interference. STP would be better in that situation. But the majority of times UTP is just fine and I would generally recommend that.

STP only works if both ends are properly grounded. If they are not, STP is worse than UTP. Both ends of the cable, not both end devices. At all points of your cable run, you must have both ends of the cable completely grounded, including patch panels and wall plates.
