Nothing happens when I press the on button on my PC. NOTHING

I recently upgraded my motherboard to a 990FX Sabertooth with a basically brand new 8350 which is one week old. I press the on button on my case and nothing happens, no fans on anything are spinning. No activity whatsoever. The standby light comes on on my brand new RM 750 power supply. I don't think I fried my motherboard because I wore an anti static wristband. I've taken out the CMOS battery and put it back in. Nothing. Tried it with no other components except CPU, PSU, RAM. Nothing. I haven't breadboarded the build yet though. I will tomorrow. Could it be my front panel connectors?? I am seriously lost here because I should at least have my fans spin with a brand new power supply. I have tried EVERYTHING. It's like my computer is cursed.

It's like my motherboard is fried. I honestly can't think of anything else it would be. Brand new power supply, brand new motherboard, week old CPU I used in my last build. My RAM is one year old, but that shouldn't make a difference. My computer should turn on right?

I did. It's when you touch the two pins with a screwdriver right?

Also, my 8350 was running at stock speeds fine for about a week. I woke up after I left my computer on for the night and it all of a sudden wouldn't turn on. I've been without a PC for about 3 months now due to money constraints. Does anyone know how the Direct Key button on the Sabertooth works?

I have tested it countless times on this motherboard. 24 pin and 8 pin were fully connected and nothing happened with it so I decided it was my power supply. Bought an RM 750 and still nothing.

Could I have damaged the board by screwing in a screw awkwardly into my standoffs? When I was correcting the motherboard into my case, one screw was sort of at an angle so I screwed it in more and it finally went into standoff. Hope I didn't damage something.

Once helped friend of mine with the same problem. The cause was that one of the pins, on the back plate of the case for screwing in the motherboard, was not where there was a hole on the motherboard (for a screw). So the case and the motherboard were touching metal to metal (through welding on the back of the motherboard). I removed the motherboard saw this. Took the pin out and installed the motherboard again, everything worked like charm. (Sorry if my English isn't very good, as it is not my native language).

Okay I will try that. I will also breadboard my PC. Are you familiar with the DirectKey Function on my motherboard? I have plugged in the reset pins into the 2 pin connector for the DirectKey which still does nothing.

I've checked and not that I know of. I will check again. I have also attempted to use my Phenom and I get nothing. This is a very strange problem because from what I know so far, I should at least have SOME activity.
