Ive got an Dell Optiplex 620 and I changed my Intel Pentium D HT with an Intel Core 2 Duo, and my Pc won't boot, no BIOS would show just a black screen as well the power button stays orange and doesn't change after 5 minutes but when I change the processors back it works again and boots up normally. Please help.
I know that it is the correct size socket and the motherboard is the Dell 0F8098, if that helps.
The PSU Is 350 watt. I also have an ATI Radeon HD 4850 Graphics card and 4GB of Ram installed.

Core 2 Duo is not on the list - it is not compatible. Generic Intel rules do not apply to Dell - Dell modifies BIOS to limit endless CPU upgrades, so people would buy more PCs from Dell.
