I don't know if this is the right section but i just spent £40 on BF4 and whenever I play i get, like, 30fps and below with huge freezing and stuttering. It does'nt matter what resolution, graphics settings or anything. My system specs: Corsair 500w PSU, MSI h61m p51 (g3), EVGA GTX 750 ti, 8 gigs RAM and a Intel g630 @ 2.7gHz. I know the G630 does bottleneck but it should'nt be this bad. It could be though. In a couple of months I will be buying a i5 3570k with plans to throw a R9 270x or a GTX 760 in my machine for the future. Do you think an i5 will fix the issue? For your info i get some micro-stutter in most games but it doesn't bother me too much. I can achieve 60 fps in most games i play. Any thoughts or people sharing the same issue? Also should i get a cheaper i3 or something? Thanks!!! EDIT: typo on the MOBO. It's actually a H61M P31 (g3) (not P51(G3))

Solution
its probly the g630, bf4 utilizes 4 cores if i recall correctly. a 3570k would be a vast improvement, and i would suggest going with the gtx 760 over the 270x. runs cooler, better driver support and nvidia just released beta " Mantle killer drivers" . mantle is just a marketing ploy imo. i wouldnt go less than an i5 as more games are using 4 cores now.
make sure on the msi h61 mb you have all of your bios updates to rule out a bios issue. also make sure your using the nvidia gpu card port and not the motherboard video ports. and i3 is faster then the cpu you have now. right now intel doing a quick haswell refresh and at the end of the year or first quarter of next year the newer brodwell cpu are dropping these newer cpu need the x9x chipset mb.
