So I made an online store for custom built pcs I plan to start soon. Due to my location I can easily get any parts needed within 20-30 minutes so I thought it would be a good idea to start a little online store and see how it works. The last thing I needed on the site was the products and the specs for each product. Then I noticed I would need case pictures at least since most people don't care to much about what the parts look like unless its the case.

So I figured I'd just put up case pictures and list out all the other parts in detail. Sadly I don't have the cases my self that are decent, its a small brand thats not well known (zalman case series). I like them cuz I use to always make budget builds off them but I don't have one thats in good condition atm to take any pics. So could I get subjected to copy righted laws if I were to use images from the main site or anything online? Also the same for taking my own pics, I'm not exactly sure if its even ok for me to use the pics I take to add to my catalog. Does anybody know?

I think if you own the case (i.e. you have it in you stock), you can take and post as many images as you want. If your intent is to purchase the case once it's been ordered, I think you need some sort of agreement between your company and the case manufacturer before you can post images.

That said, I don't think the Internet Police would be bashing down your door any time soon. At worst, you'll get an e-mail with a cease and desist order (which I would abide by immediately).
