Asus R7260x - Black screen on restart only?

I just finished putting together my first build, and ran into an issue. Once my graphics card drivers were loaded, the system will not restart.

From completely off, it boots fine, on restart from Windows or from UEFI, it loads Windows up to the logo, and stops. With the drivers provided with the card, the Windows logo will stay and continue to pulsate, with the latest AMD drivers, it goes to a black screen. With standard Microsoft drivers, it boots fine.

I have read about various driver issues with these cards, but haven't found any substantial fixes. I have had no issues with actual display, and no freezes once booted, granted I don't game, but goes through benchmarks without an issue.

Memory passes Memtest(plan on running it through the night tonight)
PSU 12v displays 12.046V, will check with DVOM tomorrow to verify.
I know the CPU is a limiting factor here(waiting on 8350 to arrive), but I don't think that is the issue, but I'm new at this.

I don't feel the card is bad, as it seems to function fine. Are there any solutions for the drivers? I know I read about setting the 2d clock speed, but wasn't able to find the setting for it. Is that an actual fix?

Ran through 8 hours of Memtest with 0 errors on single core. Restarted Memtest using all cores, and failed after a few minutes, no errors, but locked up. Repeated and locked up in same place 2 more times.

I can swap the dimms and see if that changes anything.

Could bad memory cause an issue like this, only on restart? Is there a chance it is hanging up in Memtest just because of the CPU?

PSU checks out, no voltage drops and full 12v is smooth and consistent.

Reran memtest with all cores, set to round robin mode, and passed, 8 hours with no errors.

I am hesitant to try the latest Beta drivers, but that might be the next step.

Anyone have thoughts on trying to play around with the UEFI settings, fast/secure boot?

Windows 7 Pro was installed as a native UEFI install, does that change anything?

Hello, Sorry for my english.
I had a problem with my Asus R7260X-DC2OC.
When completely off computer and turn on switch everything was OK, on restart from Windows, it loads Windows logo, and stop system.

I tried everything - new drivers, new system (Linux), remove other device (usb, pci),
I asked Asus support for help without success.
Yesterday I found the solution, I flashed card bios to version 015.039.000.003.000000 ( original BIOS version on my card 015.042.000.003.000000) now everything is OK ( catalyst driver version 14.4).
I downloaded bios form: http://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/index.php?architecture=ATI&manufacturer=Asus&model=R7+260X&interface=&memType=&memSize=

and I used instructions from this site:
http://www.overclock.net/t/1353325/tutorial-atiwinflash-how-to-flash-the-bios-of-your-ati-cards.

Attention, first save your orginal BIOS from card, my first flash failed,
I had use my old card (Gainward 9800GT) in first PCI Expres slot and I put my Asus 260X to second PCI Expres slot and I flashed again BIOS, second time OK. The card works well.
Good luck
