While I am browsing I get colorful pixelated squares on my screen. It is only while browsing never during gaming. I try to scan for troubleshooting errors and my computer freezes. I was told that while browsing you use your cpu's on board graphics, so I went to install the latest drivers for that, and when I install them it says my pc does not meet system requirements, although I know I am downloading the correct driver. When looking in device manager I see no Intel controller under display adapters, only my video card. I tried hdmi, same squares. I tried a different monitor, same squares. when I try to connect my monitor directly to the MOBO I get no signal found. So my problems are...

1. Pixelated colorful squares while browsing. Not while gaming.
2. Computer freezes when scanning for troubleshooting, and while scanning for hardware changes in device manager.
3. No Intel display adapter found , and cannot install the driver for Intel hd graphics 4600

My pc setup is as folows...

CPU- Intel 4770k
GPU- Nvidia GeForce GTX 780
MOBO- AsRock Extreme 6
RAM- 16G Gskill Ripjaws
Monitor- ASUS VG248QE using dual link dvi

Please help :)

When browsing you are still using your 780, not the integrated graphics.

Maybe try some different resolutions? Do you have poor performance in games as well? It sounds like your GPU is dead, but it may not be if your game performance is optimal.

Just right click on the desktop and click screen resolution. Change it a few times and see if that changes the colors.

You dont need the Intel display adapter for anything anymore now that you have a discrete card. My computer doesnt show it either.
