Hey,

So I bought this AMD Radeon 6770 off ebay for a while back (probably a bad idea) and for a while now I've been noticing these hitches on the screen during video playback.

They look like this:

(the little hitches on the side of the A)

I think it has something to do with antialiasing. How would I fix this (if possible)?

Thanks in advance.

What program do you use for video playback? Is it possible that it is trying to deinterlace a video source that isn't interlaced? That will cause it to be fuzzy / blurry where it is trying to deinterlace the non-interlaced content.

Example of interlaced video frame: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/1/19/Interlaced_video_frame_%28car_wheel%29.jpg

You can also install catalyst control center (and updated drivers) which has options for deinterlacing Video Playback. There is also a setting within Video -> Global Video Quality to apply video options to internet (streaming) which may help.
