Hi I am in the process of upgrading my Gaming rig. Got the Asus 780 OC and Asus Poseidon 780. Can check my current rig in detail from my signature:

Basic Rig Info:
Mobo: Asus Maximus VI Formula
CPU: i7-4770-K 3.9GHz
RAM: 32G RipJaw Z PC PC3 2400
GPU: Asus 780 oC and Poseidonb 780 SLI

So my questions are:
1. What would be a comfortable monitor setup for gaming on BF4?
Option 1: 3X 24' 1080 144hz Asus VG248
Option 2: 3X 24" 1080 120 hz (cant find much on this)
Option 3: 3X 27" 1440 Asus PB278
Option 4: 3X 24" 1080 60Hz Asus VS239

2. I guess my follow-up question would be Is there even a significant difference between the 4 options. And the price difference is pretty big, just on the monitors alone, (around 1000) if you count the difference in GPU power needed the price premium would be even greater.(around 1500)

3. That settings do I change to if I use 3 monitors. Do I change my viewing angle to 180, since the point of having three monitors is to be able to see more thus improving your game.

I also know that Asus is coming up with a 1440 120Hz model soon. But I am sure its not going to be cheap. Anyway thanks in advance for the advice.

Sounds like a good plan, but the 27" Asus 1440 will be fine, and probably much cheaper. Plus, you can just get two, since you already have one with the exact size and resolution. There's no reason to pay that much for a monitor, you'll never get 120 FPS on one let alone three 1440p monitors in any game.

If you want higher fps get the 24" 1080p 144Hz monitor, but if you want better viewing and quality get the 3 monitor setup. But by going with the 3 monitor setup, it will put a lot of strain on the graphics cards. So if you want a nice, simple setup go for the 24". Also, if you go with 3 monitors, you will have to plug in a Displayport into one of the monitors.

Thank you for your comments, Why is plugging into a display port an issue? I mean I have display port cables and adapters so that should not be a problem. thanks.

With 3 monitors you probably will not get 144 FPS. I would go with option 3, 3 large monitors with high resolution, so you'll get good quality and size. That will definitely look the nicest, out of all of them. Having multiple ports being used shouldn't be an issue.

Thank you for your comments, I just searched on-line and found that Asus is coming out with their first ROG monitor which is a 27" 1440 res with 120 refresh rate. I think that is the monitor I want. A bit pricy at 799 MSRP. Maybe I will wait until it is cheaper. But since I already have 2 27 inch 1080 monitors and one 27" 1440 res monitors I will do the 3 X 27 inch setup in portrait mode. I will put the 1440 res one in the middle so if I am not playing games I would have a higher res monitor for me to do other things. Probably going to sell my two 1080 27" and get another 1440 27" then finally getting the ROG 27 inch once the price had dropped. Any comments on my plan?
