Month old internal hard drive noise

Hey, I just built a computer about a month-month and a half ago, and bought/installed a Western Digital 2TB Caviar Black internal hard drive for a data drive. (I have a SSD for boot/program drive.) A couple days ago I turned off and unplugged the computer, and went to do some cable management that I didn't do while building. I unplugged most wires/cables inside the case. Tonight when I finished that, I plugged the computer back into the wall, turned the PSU switch back on, and powered the system up. It booted fine, runs fine, and I can access the drive just fine. However, the drive makes a very soft tap/thump sound as if its reading but its every 2-3 seconds. Its very soft but noticeable. I did not notice this before redoing the wires.

Is there a way to provide a video for anyone here, I would like to know if this is something to be concerned about. Like I said, its only a month or so old.
Thank you.

To allay your concerns you can test the drive with WD's own diagnostic software, Data LifeGuard Diagnostic for Windows (I assume you're referring to the WD drive): http://support.wd.com/product/download.asp?groupid=613&sid=3&lang=en

Note: don't install this on the same drive you wish to test, install it on your SSD.
