Now,this is really an ultimate gaming rig.but is this ready to be built.or do i need any other components like cpu cooler, case cooler, thermal paste etc.?i have added a 64gb ssd too,but i think i dont need it.DO i ?.because it makes the cost more.so can you suggest something to make the price low.and i first had i7 4770k it was costly so i changed to xeon.the only difference is 4770k has integrated graphics but xeon does not.what is the use of integrated graphics.thats all is my question.please reply fast.Thank You In Advance

Solution

It's usually suggested to use thermal paste - many coolers and whatnot will come with some pre-applied, but it usually isn't as good. The SSD should be fine...

OK thank you,but when i asked other people in one of my thread they said i dont need a cooler for cpu,if i really need a cpu cooler please suggest me one and what else i need case cooler and thermal paste?i dont think i need them.i dont want the rate to increase i want it below £800,so can you suggest some components which makes the rate low and not high.and what about the ssd too

It's usually suggested to use thermal paste - many coolers and whatnot will come with some pre-applied, but it usually isn't as good. The SSD should be fine - they're better for things like the OS than games IMO. I have 2, and the games one just fills up so fast (240GB).

As for a cooler.... maybe something like this? It's a closed loop water cooler, I have the 1155 version of it.

Also, buddy is correct. Your memory is not supported by the CPU - the clock, at the very least, is off.

That's the spec page for your processor. At a minimum, you'll need to have ram that matches the clock(s) listed there.

is this memory supported - Kingston Beast 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory.i dont want a cooler coz the stock cooler in xeon is really good.and thermal paste is not needed i think.

Meh, at worst it's a few extra purchases. You can try it with just the stock cooler, but make sure you install everest home edition or something to track your temperatures. That'll give you a good idea on whether or not you need to upgrade those components.

As for the RAM.... it looks like it should work? I'd confirm that with someone with a little more experience building, however. I've only completed one myself.
