I'm building somewhat of a budget pc for a friend and am torn between these 2 boards. I have never owned an asrock product but have heard really good things about them. I also have owned an msi in the past and it still hasn't ever failed on me yet. They both seem about the same quality and are around the same price. Just looking for opinion and voice of reason. Share your thoughts? Much appreciated.

Here are the 2 on Newegg.

Hi bmw ownage
i personally would go the asrock Fatal1ty overclocking with this board is pretty easy and the asrock features such as xfast usb up to 5 times faster usb with turbo , xfast lan makes your internet faster and the Xfast ram giving you the abillity to create a ram disk and put all your internet caches files in it speeds up things substantionally and photoshop execution is lots faster , the msi board is also a good board with some nice features but for me the Fatal1ty wins

Well he is new to the custom pc world so I don't think overclocking will be anywhere within the near future. If it were stock speeds only would you still make the same choice?
