Hey guys. I'm looking to build my first ever gaming PC. I went with this build. My budget is 1000$ and I play mostly Steam games like Skyrim and Borderlands 2 and some MMO's like GW2, Diablo 3, and LoL. Im not planning on overclocking. I was wondering if this build is good for the price or should I change something? Thanks and keep in mind I am a newbie lol

i just saw your other post too this is more quality but does not include the extra $90 for windows which he could cut off an d get a 760

Hi John,
Right off the bat, build looks good.

Here are my thoughts.
1- Get the i5-3570 instead of the overclocked version (since you mentioned, you don't plan to overclock). You will save $10.
2- You could apply that $10 towards a good Full Tower cabinet. Believe me you will like it.

3- Buy a Full Modular Power Supply so you can select the cables you need for Good Cable Management and it will look neat. Additionally, it will provide you good air flow. Good airflow equals good performance.

5- Get 1 TB of HDD. And invest the rest in a good SSD from either Samsung/ ADATA / OCZ / Plextor / Corsair.
6- If you will be gaming for long hours pick up a CPU Cooler.
