Hi,
I installed Microsoft Office 2013 in my HP Compaq 8510w, WIN 7, and ,yeah, it is a little bit old one. After I installed it, it worked fine. However, I had some problems in the following days. When I opened Microsoft Word,Excel, or PowerPoint, it worked fine, but when I tried to open a new blank document( or sheet) or open other files, it stopped suddenly and opened a window telling me that the program has stopped. Oddly, programs like Microsoft Access or Publisher worked fine without any issues. The problem only appears in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint programs.

I tried to find solutions, and I did. I noticed that I log in to my computer with a non-administrator profile, so I deleted all the non-administrator profiles and kept only the administrator one. Yes, Excel and Word have worked. Now, it goes back again to the same issue. It doesn't work when I open a new document, even when logging in as an administrator.

I am thinking of many factors that can cause this issue. Maybe, my old laptop causes some compatibility issues with the new 2013 Microsoft Office, but then why some programs work and others don't? I am also thinking of some viruses that can affect the running of some programs. I made a virus scan using Malwarebytes anti malware software, but they still don't work. Do you have ,guys, any possible solution for the problem, or do you know any other possible causes for it?

Thanks

Solution
If you uninstall and re-install you will need the code.

The best way to trouble-shoot this is to do a clean setup of Office again. A corrupt profile can cause these issues also, you can create a new user profile and see if that works.

I dont know how to reinstall it and I dont know if reinstalling needs the activation code or not. My uncle installed it in my laptop. I am not sure if he still has the activation code. Do you know how to reinstall? Do you know other solutions rather than reinstalling?
