CPU: Intel i5-4570
MOBO: Gigabyte B85M-D3H
RAM: G.Skill or Crucial 2x4GB DDR3-1600 CL9
Storage: WD Caviar Blue 1TB 64MB HDD 7200RPM
Video Card: Sapphire Radeon R9 280X Dual-X
Optical Drive: HP DVDRW+

I calculated it from xtremepowervision and it says I should use a minimum of 650W but then sapphire's website say I should use a 750W power supply as a minimum. . I am very confused. .

i'm getting ~550W max off extremepowervision, inclusive of an SSD, 2x 120mm regular fans, & 30% capacitor aging in the case that you keep the PC turn on 24/7 & intent to keep that PSU for a year.

either way, as for minimum wattage, you can likely run it off a 450W PSU provided it's of excellent quality, though it's much better to play it safe and go with 550-650W. 750-800W if you plan to run it in dual CF.

i really wouldn't trust a GPU manufacturer's PSU calculator as they do tend to pad it up with lots of unnecessary wattage. extremepowervision or PCpartpickers calculator is your best bet. case in point; Asus calculated i needed 650W for an i3-2100 + GTX560ti. i've seen people run an i5-2500K + 560ti with a 500W PSU.

A good 550W PSU with 80+Bronze certificate would be good to go. But i recommend atleast a Seasonic S12II 620W PSU for more headroom. I can run an i5-4670K slightly oc'd and r9 280x with the Seasonic 620W PSU.
