I have the HP Pavilion dv6-6b57sa Entertainment Notebook PC Drivers. (Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit Service Pack 1, Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-2330M CPU @ 2.20GHz, Intel(R) HD Graphics 3000 & Radeon AMD graphics card) I have updated all the drivers from the HP site. The notebook came with wi-di installed but this is out of date for netgear push2TV 3000. When I tried to upgrade wi-di I kept getting the following error message.
The catalyst control centre is not supported by the driver version of your graphics enabled adapter. Please update your AMD graphics driver, or enable your AMD adapter using the Displays Manager.

The various forums to uninstall and reinstall the CCC through the AMD website. The error message has stopped. When I tried to update wi-di I received an error message saying that the computer does not meet the requirements for wi-di.

I then uninstalled and reinstalled the wi-di software from the HP site. The software has downloaded and appears to have installed and allowed me to agree the licence. When I try to open the software it seems to crash. I have tried this repeatedly after restarting etc but cannot open the programme.

I have seen lots of similar queries with people not being able to get wi-di working on the HP computers and I am now wondering if this is some sort of HP problem.

I am wondering if this is related to the HP build with two graphics cards.

Can someone please help me if they know of a solution?

Solution
I have finally managed to install intel wi di.

The HP Pavilion dv6-6b57sa Entertainment Notebook PC is installed with graphics cards that are not fixed. On the HP website I found an answer to a similar error message which said that the graphics driver was incompatible. That answer said to update the bios on start up to fixed graphics drivers. I updated the bios to fixed.

I then updated all the drivers using first windows update, intel update and HP update. Some of the HP updates were already out of date as the HP updates were not up to date.

I then uninstalled and reinstalled the ATI Catalyst Control Centre.

I then uninstalled and reinstalled both the graphics drivers.

Finally I uninstalled and then installed the intel pro set...

Normally you can override things like this by downloading the driver directly by googling the ids. Just type in devmgmt.msc hit enter, go to display adapters, right click and go to properties, go over to the details tab, then go over to where you see property, go to that drop down menu and click on compatible ids, and then right click-copy. After that paste that information here.

Weird it shows a 6470 not the 90. I found thishttp://www.driveridentifier.com/scan/download.php?item_id=102676299&scanid=91B2BE21F37C466C87A3CEC4ACF5DF26&hardware_id=PCI%5CVEN_1002%26DEV_6760 I know it says 6470 but from the ids that is all that it shows. Just let me know if it works

Finally I uninstalled and then installed the intel pro set widi software and driver from intel.

This still didn't allow me to install intel wi di. In intel wi di support I noticed an answer to a similar error message and it seemed to suggest the intel my wi fi part of the intel pro set software was not working. In change programs (control panel) I unchecked the intel my wi fi option box in the intel pro set software and rebooted. In change programs then I checked the intel my wi fi and rebooted.

The intel wi di software finally worked.
