I have the HP Pavilion dv6-6b57sa Entertainment Notebook PC Drivers. (Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit Service Pack 1, Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-2330M CPU @ 2.20GHz, Intel(R) HD Graphics 3000 & Radeon AMD graphics card) I have updated all the drivers from the HP site. The notebook came with wi-di installed but this is out of date for netgear push2TV 3000. When I tried to upgrade wi-di I kept getting the following error message.
The catalyst control centre is not supported by the driver version of your graphics enabled adapter. Please update your AMD graphics driver, or enable your AMD adapter using the Displays Manager.
The various forums to uninstall and reinstall the CCC through the AMD website. The error message has stopped. When I tried to update wi-di I received an error message saying that the computer does not meet the requirements for wi-di.
I then uninstalled and reinstalled the wi-di software from the HP site. The software has downloaded and appears to have installed and allowed me to agree the licence. When I try to open the software it seems to crash. I have tried this repeatedly after restarting etc but cannot open the programme.
I have seen lots of similar queries with people not being able to get wi-di working on the HP computers and I am now wondering if this is some sort of HP problem.
I am wondering if this is related to the HP build with two graphics cards.
Can someone please help me if they know of a solution?
