I am currently converting videos with Handbrake and I am getting this noise from my computer and want to make sure it isn't my Hard drive, before it's too late.
My GPU is an EVGA GTX770 and my CPU is i7 4770k with the stock heatsink.
My PSU is Corsair GS Series, think it's 800W, could be higher, not lower though.
My main os is on an SSD, no raid config. I am writing and reading from and to the HDD from handbrake.
My HD is a WD 1TB Blue Edition connected on a Sata 3.

Hopefully someone can tell me if the noise is not coming from my HD, and if it is, how long do you think I have until it fails completely.
Here is the video with the noise. Hopefully it's clear enough. Thanks

Sounds more like you are cranking the crap out of your system and fans are running full tilt. CPU and/or GPU fans.

Try this pause HB and after giving a few seconds for the cached writes to finish does the noise stop? I'm guessing not and that it will take a minute or two.

Also, as a test, on a fresh boot and before running HB try copying some large files from a folder on the SSD to another on that drive an see if you here any noise.

What are the temps of the CPU and GPU when running conversions?

Did your MB come with some SW that allows you to monitor Temps and Fan Speeds?
Did your graphics cared come with SW to allow you to monitor Temps and Fan Speeds?
