My VGA card ( Nvidia GT 530 4 GB) is not detected on Asus H61m-k, I tried everything I know and it won't work with this Mobo, note that when i turn on my PC it tells me : CPU is not supported press F1 to continue I do that and windows boot just fine but It tells me that 7.88 out of my 8 GB ram is usable, right now i'm using intel HD 2000 as my VGA, please I want to use my Nvidia GT 530 please tell me what to do
Thanks in advance
My CPU is : Intel Core i5 2400 ( 3.10 GHz , 6 miga cash )

You are correct, the Asus H61m-k does not support the use of Intel Core i5 2400. The Asus H61m-k is a low priced economy model. The Thermal Design Power of the Intel Core i5 2400 is 95W. I don't see that the motherboard supports any CPUs with that high of a (TDP).

The Thermal Design Power (TDP) is the average maximum power a processor can dissipate while running commercially available software. TDP is primarily used as a guideline for manufacturers of thermal solutions (heatsinks/fans, etc) which tells them how much heat their solution should dissipate.

Your CPU may work for awhile but since excessive heat can shorten the life of electronic parts, it may fail after a short period of time. Use of unsupported CPUs will also cause problems relating to warranty claims.

Use of unsupported CPUs are more of an experiment on your part. You may find some things work and other things don't work.

The motherboard is too low end and it can not handle 95watts+ tdp that the cpu use.
I changed my mobo for 40 euros for a gigabyte variant that supports the 2nd/3rd gen cpu to even 115w tdp.
There is actually nothing you can do then to switch your motherboard.
