Hey everyone,

At the moment I'm puting together the components for my first self built gaming pc, and I would really like to get some opinions of those that know this stuff better than me.

So far I've pretty much finalised my build, but I'm afraid that the stuff won't fit in the pc tower and I'm not entirely sure if the power supply is suficient.

My current build consists of ;

Motherboard : Asus Z87M-PLUS
CPU : Intel Core i7 4770K
RAM : Corsair DDR3-1600 Kit 2x4GB Vengeance
GPU : MSI Radeon R9 280X GAMING 3GB
SSD : Samsung 840 EVO 120GB
HDD : WD Black SATA 6 Gb/s WD1003FZEX, 1TB
Tower : Corsair Carbide 300R
Power supply : I'm thinking either a Seasonic M12II 620W ( but I'm afraid that it won't have enough Watt ) or a Corsair CXM 750W or a Cooler Master GM 750W.

I would greatly apreciate it if anyone could give their opinion on this build.
all together this pc would cost me around € 1029,97 ( $1425 ) which is perfect for my budget.

thanks in advance !

Hi, there

Try this link out for your PSU calculation:

I believe the 620W should do perfectly fine. I have the same PSU.
Secondly, the Corsair Carbide 300R is a mid tower and I'd suggest that you go in for a full tower since your mobo is a Standard ATX.

Good luck with your build.

you dont want a Intel 17 unless you plan on running advanced editing software a i5 will be fine for gaming

if you haven't already bought the PSU i would go with a 750w. Just in case you want to upgrade video cards in the future. But just like Octaneurpc said, the 620W will be fine.
