Hi all, bit of advice needed please. I have fitted a new EVGA GTX 780 SC with the latest WHQL drivers to my system and all appears to be working well. What I would like to know is what should I be expecting regarding operating temperatures for this card?

I have run GPU-Z and the readings I am getting are 26°C at idle and 71°C under load whilst playing BF3, all settings at ultra. Is this acceptable? The fan speed is at 60% 1992 rpm.

Also, there is a new setting I am unfamiliar with in GPU-Z called Perf cap reason, this is showing Util, can someone explain this please?

yes they are fine, under 80c is safe for gpu. U can also make a fan profile and increase the speed of ur fan even if u dont do it its still fine.

Thanks for the answer Raheel, would it be better to increase the speed of the fans if this would make the operating temperatures lower?
