Our internet Router was recently reset, and the name and password changed to default. This was no problem as I found the password on the side of the machine etc. but it meant that I can no longer connect to my NAS drive. It used to be mapped on my laptop under its correct name etc. but i can no longer access it. I think this is because it's name has been reset. Does anyone know how i can access the name i use to map it? I know how to map it, but I don't know the folder name to put into the "Map Network Drive" Window
Please help ASAP! Need to backup my data.

Info:
Windows 8.1 (unfortunately)
NAS is plugged into router and i can access the router.
Please ask for any information you need!

I'm not sure. When i go to the router settings by putting the IP address in the url bar, it says something is a dynamic IP Address.
What is a static IP address. If I know i may be able to figure out if it had it?

One of my family members reckons it's Static.
