Would like to use a portable wireless webcam at work site with different work locations. We have internet service at main office location. The work site locations are from .5 to 7 miles away. Working on dry lake bed so we have clear line of site with no obstructions. The webcam will be mounted on a 30' portable telescopic mast powered with solar and batteries.

Any suggestions?

You should be able to use a out door equipment from engenius or ubiquiti. This is normally used for point to point network bridging but many of the devices can also run as AP mode. For shorter distance the engenius enh202 would likely work. When you start talking more than a mile or so it gets tricky because you need both ends elevated to not takes signal loss from the ground. You can go with large directional antenna but at some point the wireless cameras signal will just be too weak to be heard. Then you need direction antenna on both ends to get distance. Although in theory this type of equipment could go 7 miles that is a long way and you generally need to be much higher because of curve of the earth issues.
