I recently built a computer and noticed that the processor temperature is really high.
I know/hope that the cpu temperature isn't rising above 80 degrees because the motherboard is set to alert me when the cpu reaches 80 degrees.
HWMonitor is displaying my processor temperature to be well over 80 degrees (sometimes over 90, as seen in the screenshot)

Heres my question:
Is the temperature displayed in HWMonitor the processor temperature or is it reading something else? If not, is TMPIN2 my processor temperature? To me it looks like a more realistic temperature.
The screenshot was taken while I was rendering with C4D, hence the high temperatures.

I have looked on google and it seems that alot of people are having the same problem.

I would recommend you to re-mount your Heat-Sink, cause that CPU should run at 67- 75ish, temps above that could damage your CPU.
If you have messed around with overclocking, I would recommend you to reset the BIOS if you have messed with the Vcore. Voltage will increase your temperatures. .
