Ok, so i'm looking for a new gaming graphics card but I don't really know that much about this stuff so i'm asking it out here. My recent graphics card is a MSI nvidia GTX 260 1gb and my motherboard is an Asus Sabertooth X58.

I've been looking at some graphics cards like nvidia GTX 660 2gb, nvidia GTX 760 2gb and R9 280X 3gb but i don't know is there some things which prevent the graphics card from working like the motherboard's BIOS etc. I know my mother board has only PCI-E 2.0 slots in it but I've checked that the PCI-E 3.0 cards work in the 2.0 slots.

My budget is about 300€. I need games working in good graphics like Arma 3, BioShock infinite, The witcher 2 and so on...

What are the rest of your system specs, especially the PSU? There will be no problems with the motherboard as long as you remove the old drivers, especially if you're going from Nvidia to AMD.

This is the best you can get for 300€: http://www.jimms.fi/tuote/R9-280X-GAMING-3G (I guessed you're from Finland, correct me if I'm wrong)

According to this, the Asus one would also be good, it's basically up to which one looks better in your opinion.

The problem is that the Asus version is out of stock on Jimm's and you won't be able to get it from there until 6.5.

What exact model? If it's even fairly good quality, the R9 280X should run on your set up.

Can you open up your PC and take a pic of the label on the power supply? That reminds me, what is your case? It's good to know your case can fit the GPU before buying it. If you don't know the model, just grab some measuring tape and measure the distance between the back of your case and the hard drive bays (or whatever the GPU would hit if it were too long).

For reference: The MSI R9 280X Gaming is 26.9 cm long.

There is no label on the power supply but I think I can get a new power supply anyways. And my case is an Antec Three Hundred Gaming Case and the graphics card should fit in the case well.

Yeah, the case is fine and getting a quality power supply is always a good idea.
I recommend you to get this one: http://www.jimms.fi/tuote/P1-550S-XXB9

That might just be the most recommended PSU on this forum, since it's made by the best, Seasonic.
