So my current rig is extremely ancient, it's a
Pentium dual core e5700 @ 3.00ghz
4gb ddr2 memory
A relatively new zotac gtx 650 amp edition 2gb
And a monitor that won't go above 1280x1024
...
Now these are the parts that I am planning on buying
1.CPU - AMD FX 6300 Black Edition
2.MOBO - gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3
3.Corsair vengeance 4gb ddr3 ram 1600
4.PSU - corsair vs450
5.GPU - Zotac GeForce GTX 650 amp edition(2GB oc)
6.HDD - Wester Digital CaviarBlue 500GB
Now my question is since I'm essentially just upgrading my CPU and not my video card will I experience a significant change in terms of performance from my older computer to the one I'm getting now. Because I'm very sceptical about this "budget" build per say
I'll be buying a new monitor but am not particular on running everything on full hd(I've been already told the gtx 650 can't handle full hd gaming ) but can I run games like battlefield 4 and titanfall at only HD at medium to high and still manage to get about 45-60fps
