Best disk recovery software?

Ok i'm planning on setting up my own pc repair shop. What do you think is the best/reliable disk recovery software to use? Paid or free.

More about disk recovery software
  1. This is my No 1 rescue disc: http://www.ultimatebootcd.com/
  2. You'll be surprised to find out how much "lost" data isn't lost at all when you go looking for it with Linux instead of Windows. My business gets by with that and a collection of several hard disk circuit boards.

In twelve years of fixing PCs for a living, I've never used any of the utilities which are often Spammed on these forum pages. Piriform Recuva and Restoration 2514 have always done it for me.
  3. You should go with paid software.
BTW best of luck for your new business..

I use recuva for home use. I plan on offering data recovery for businesses, and some are often skeptical when they know that you are using a free recovery software. So i was looking for a much better software be paid or free that can handle the needs of most businesses, if there is any. :D
  5. I don't trouble my customers with the details of my fixes - too much information may cost repeat business. :D

Best of luck - it's the best job in the world with no two days the same and it's a subject we will never stop learning.
