My computer won't start

I have just finished building my computer but it has no video output what could be wrong

Specs
AMD FX 9590 8-core FX series
Dark rock pro 2 CPU heatsink
2x Kingston ValueRAM KVR16R11D4/16HM
Asrock 990FX Extreme 9 mobo
WD 2TB HDD
ASUS wireless-AC1900
MSI Radeon R9 290x lightning
XFX PRO1000W
Thermaltake level 10GT case

Make sure all your power conectors are hooked up. Your 290x requires two 8 pin connectors. Check your 24 pin connector to make sure it is pushed down all the way. Make sure the CPU fan connector is connected to the right spot(usually right next to the CPU socket). Also make sure you have the cpu power connector hooked up (8 pin connector for that CPU I believe) Make sure to double check your jumper cables as well. The ones that come from the front panel. Check your motherboard manual for proper hookup.
