Running LinX stress for 20mins and during the test I notice the temps on Real Temp of my CPU are not really stable. They go anywhere from low 60s to high 90s,100. For the most part it stays in the range of 60-80 but there are instances where it will be in the 90s for maybe 3-4 seconds. I was wondering if that was a normal thing? Also overclocked to 3.9Ghz

Fans are running properly and the pump temperature on corsair link shows that it's around 26C. I've reseated the heatsink and made sure that it was properly seated and still no difference in temperatures.

What application are you measuring temps with? Use the software that came with the motherboard, and review the temps in the BIOS and see if it's fluctuating.

90 is way to hot. That could damage your CPU.

Make sure you put the thermal paste on correctly
