Hi, I'm having a strange problem when playing video games on my PC. I will be able to play my games for about 5-10 mins with no problems, however my monitor will then display a specific colour (usually dependent on the colour of texture i'm looking at in game) and show a vertical pattern of lines down the screen. The audio continues and I'll still be able to hear characters and ambient sounds from the games. I've tested for viruses and it is not a heat issue as my cpu and gpu never go above 70c.

Any help would be appreciated

My specs:
i5 4430
AMD Radeon 7950
ATA WDC WD10EZEX-00Z 1TB hdd
ASRock H87 Pro 4

Okay so I tested the card on unigine valley, 3dmark 11 and the new 3dmark software. It managed to get through valley and 3DMark 11 fine but in the new 3Dmark test it got to the fire strike demo, which is the most demanding, before freezing to a grey screen. Thoughts?

Tried 3DMark again and now its working along with Battlefield 4 which was crashing virtually straight away. Not confident it will last though.
