so i have the asus cross-hair v formula-z
and my on board audio just disappeared from the device manager and sound proprieties as well as front panel audio
now i already tried the following
uninstalled realtek HD audio from programs and features tool in control panel
and re installed most updated one
that did not work
so then i figured windows might have gotten corrupted
so i deleted the partition and formatted it and re installed windows 7
and used my motherboard disc audio just to see if it worked
and nope still nothing
Any ideas
or something i haven't tried
and is there a solution without having to buy a new motherboard or case
