Why are you getting the 2011 socket x79 platform?

the 4770K is more than good enough and performs just as well as the 4820.

Hard to have an opinion if we don't know what you'll be using it for lol Extreme overkill on the power supply. And why did you get such old graphics cards?

Gotcha, that makes sense :)  I would still go with a 4770k + Z87 motherboard, unless you plan on doing 3/4-way SLI/Crossfire or something. The 2011 socket is really only for people who need insane amounts of RAM and PCIe lanes.

That said, regarding quality/reliability of components, those are all high-quality, good parts :)

You picked very good parts. Will be a very powerful system for a long time.

Thank you

yes, i do want to eventually go for a 3 way SLI /Xfire. After building PC's for a while i notice that everything off the vendors QVL doesn't always mean zero problems. Just want to make sure my systems base is decent enough to expand on and that there are no know issues with these parts, together or separately. Thanks for replying.
