What speed should I expect from my matsunichi drive. And how can I test it?

I just put in a Vantec usb3.0 card into my Dell 960, so that could be an issue also.

I would think between 12 mb/s to 30, kinda depends on the file and if your reading or adjusting it.

How did you make the measurement?

I looked at different benchmarks around the internet and found an average time

hi jbeexx,
you can test with , ATTO Disk Benchmark
here is the download link ,
http://www.softpedia.com/get/System/Benchmarks/ATTO-Dis...
i would expect no higher than 30mbs , 20-25mbs most likely
let me know the results

Thanks for the link....
My main drive, which isn't a speed demon, is an ST3100...120 MB/sec
A USB2 WD drive, attached to a USB 2 port, benches at 30-35 MB/sec
A new Matsunichi 1 TB drive, benches at 100 MB/sec, which is confirmed by a Windows drag& drop of a very large file.

All these are at the longer size file reads/writes

I guess I shouldn't complain.
