need help overclocking a phenom x4 9850 black edition

hi i have a phenom x4 9850 black edition @2.5ghz with some huge aftermarket cpu cooler and i would like to overclock to 3ghz or higher my motherboard is a M3N72-D is this possible thanks in advance

yes, you can overclock. make sure you know how though.

i dont know if the mobo specifically says whether it can overclock or not, but go into bios and find out. and yes, bios is better.
