Hi there!
I just want to ask if it's ok to leave my CPU oc on hte CPU OC Mode that my mobo had as an option? I selected the 4024 MHz option for now before pushing it any further. My mobo is the Asrock 970 extreme3 r2.0

Solution
Generally I would stay away from the 1-click OC modes on motherboards, as they usually increase the voltage too much, which is damaging in the long run. Depending on your CPU, a 4GHz overclock isn't very much, so the motherboard may not have messed with the voltage too much. Like CTurbo asked, I would run some stress tests while monitoring voltage/temps to make sure it's safe.

I have the fx-6300 cooled with a Hyper 212 EVO on an asrock 970 extreme3 r2.0 .. i tested it and it gave a calculation error (something like 9._______ instead of 9. ______ on the 3rd core) and a rounding error on the 4th core (got 0.5, expected 0.4)
