Is the EVGA GeForce GTX 780 3GB Video Card worth paying for?
The video card: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/evga-video-card-03gp43784k...
If not which video card is worth the money, and I'm willing to go down to GTX 770. Only GeForce GTX GPUs. Thanks.

I own a EVGA GTX 760 SC ACX 4Gb (Yes, I fell into the 4gb Trap) and Im enjoying it.

It all comes down to what resolution your playing at and what works for you.

I get 50 avg on High - Ultra on most my games w my 760 @ 1080 gaming. That will change tho when my 1440p monitor arrives. More like 30-40fps.

If you have the budget for a 780, go for it but I find a better cpu (i5) and a gtx 760 or 770 would be a good fit.

Im saying 760 is worth the money, imho. Just dont pay more that $250ish and get a 2gb v

What is the 4gb trap?

Paying more $ for 4Gb when it's not really necessary. 2Gb is just fine at 1080p gaming.
I paid $316 CAD for my 760 sc acx. Don't get me wrong, it was a good price compared to others ($365). I didn't research enough is all.
So, what are you going with?
If you hold out there is a GTX 780 6gb coming out by EVGA, if your gaming high than 1080p res it would be a good choice.
Or, go we a 760 now, and sli later.
