Razer Taipan won't work in USB 3.0?

Short and simple, PC only recognizes the mouse in a usb 2.0 slot. All of my 3.0 usb's work with my keyboard, but the mouse won't detect in any 3.0 ports. (I have 6 3.0's, and 8 2.0's all together Case+Mobo). I have updated my Razer Synapse 2.o verison, and tried updating all of my mouse drivers and MOBO's USB drivers off Asus's site (Asus 990FX pro r2.0).

What's going on? Works perfect in 2.0, Love the mouse, no performance issues at all. Just won't detect the faster 3.0...

Really? this is common? shouldn't I want my mouse in a 3.0 port though? It's a new enough mouse, I thought it should work fine shouldn't it?

Hmm... what do I do with 6 usb ports if it only works with certain hardware... I'd of thought Razer's 5 month old mouse model would support it... guess its Razers driver or... sounds like people run it in 3.0 with windows default mouse drivers :/ but I need synapse for the extra butons and compatability. Guess I'll live with it since I'm sure it doesn't affect my mouse performance any, but still quite odd...
