Hello everyone, I would like your assistance in helping me make a gaming/3d modeling pc. I already have a case, monitor, keyboard and mouse so all I need is the OS and parts. I am hoping to use a Amd 8350 in my build, but if you can make a better one without it feel free to change it. Edit: I also do not need a Hard drive.

CPU AMD FX-8350 4.0GHz 8-Core $179.00
CPU Cooler Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing $29.98
Motherboard Asus M5A97 R2.0 ATX AM3+ $94.23
Memory G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 $127.50
Storage Samsung 840 EVO 120GB 2.5" SSD $78.99
Video Card EVGA GeForce GTX 760 2GB $224.99
Power Supply XFX 550W ATX12V / EPS12V $49.99
Operating System Microsoft Windows 8.1 (OEM) (64-bit) $89.98
Total: $874.66
this should play most games on ultra, and have no problem with 3d animation, and its easily overclockable.

I think I5-4670K perfom better. And i add a Noctua CPU Cooler for good OC if you want.

I never intended to overclock it. I hear a whole lot of stories about how it is to hot so that is why I would rather have air cooling. Remember this isn't only for video games, it is also for 3d modeling and game development.

Wow dude thanks for the build it looks fantastic. I'll start ordering it soon. You also fit an SD in there which is pretty good.

yeah, and even if you dont want to OC much that cooler is way better than the jet-engine stock cooler XD and i know, i5 4670k wiil be better for gaming, but unless playing a very cpu-intensive game, the 8350 can handle games on max settings. and if the program you use for 3d modeling can use more than 4 cores, the 8350 can out-perform the i5 4670k at stock speed.

I planned on getting that specific cooler to. Blender and Maya(the two 3d modeling suites I'll be using) use all 8 cores so that is why I thought the 8350 was the best CPU in its price range.
