I'm wondering if it's safe/doable to plug my HDMI tv into my graphics card, but i DO NOT want a dual monitor setup. I know it's not a strong enough card to handle that. But if I plug in both, is there a way to TOGGLE which output it uses? I'd like to switch to the TV when watching a movie, say, but I'd rather stick with the monitor for my gaming and browsing. The card has plugins for both, but I'm not daring enough to just plugin and try it.

Your video card will have NO issues running multiple screens(even at the same time for day to day use). You can swap among displays in the drivers and even setup a hotkey to allow fast swapping.

Windows has a built in feature that may also work well for you.

Try Start + P to select Projector only and with any luck that will swap over to the TV and then using it to get Computer Only should bring you back.

Great thanks, actually when I plugged it in it made the TV the default monitor and defaulted me to a two monitor setup, but it was pretty easy to figure out where to go in the catalyst control center once you told me it'd work fine, so all is well. Now those blu-ray movies can actually be seen at blu-ray quality!

I am assuming your TV is running HDMI(you can pass audio too) or DVI(separate audio).

If you happened to have an older HD TV with VGA, you should not use VGA for bluray because the copy protection will not work.

Enjoy the setup.
