So i just realized that i had my 212 evo fan blowing air into my cpu (because it is fixed horizontally and on the side closest to the top of my case)
Should i go in there and change this or is this fine? This could explain my throttling at only 4.3ghz on my fx 6300.

With a little handy work you can use zip ties to attach another fan on the other side of the cooler unless it already has the hooks then you do not need zip ties.
All in all if you do not like the speed of ur CPU just add another fan to the cooler or get a better CPU Cooler.

PS. I use zip ties and it works absolutely fine.

So in other words, it's not important in which direction the fan is circulating airflow?

A pic of the exact orientation would work here.

The 212 EVO fan either blows pushes into the cooler fins (preferred and default), or pulls through the cooler fins. It can't blow 'into' the cpu.

Reset it so that the air is pushed through the heatsink and out the top of your case.

Are your fans pointed in the same direction as the In-take fans on the front of the case? If no, then thats what you should do.
